Emma Romell (roh-MELL)
PhD student in Sociology, University of Wisconsin-Madison
Hello!
I am a graduate student in Sociology at UW-Madison, where I am also affiliated with the Center for Demography and Ecology and the Collaborative for Reproductive Equity. I have wide-ranging interests in inequality, with research spanning topics including family structure and family relationships, health disparities, and education. My work has been published in Social Problems and Contraception.
I hold an M.S. in Sociology and a B.A. with Distinction in Sociology, both from UW-Madison. In my free time, I love to cook, watch low-stakes reality TV, and, when time allows, camp and hike in the Southwest.
You can see my CV here and learn more about my research here. You can also email me at romell@wisc.edu or follow me on Twitter here.
